bringing Christ-centered hope and wholeness to orphan care
7 years later
January 12, 2017
January 12, 2010. It has been 7 years since the Earthquake shook Haiti and many have still yet recovered. God has had his protective hand on the children and staff of Good Neighbor Orphanage. From the earthquake to hurricane Matthew Oct 18, 2016, we have remained safe. We have rebuilt and are expanding. All Glory to God!
However, we have seen the devastation impact our community, multiple times. We believe we are not only called to care for the children within our walls, but the community around us. We currently have 87 unsponsored community kids at Good Neighbor Christian School and we need YOUR help to provide them an education.
"The average annual income in Haiti is about $350-$400. The cost of sending one child to school for one year is a minimum of $200 for the year and on average, $350." - Greater Good Haiti
Good Neighbor Christian School costs $100 per child per year. GNCS strives to accept all children, understanding their inability to pay, and believes God will fill that financial gap through sponsors like YOU.
Please take the time to read about our Community Kids and if you feel led, contact us about sponsoring a child's education this year!
