The school year is almost over. We are busy attending end of year awards, plays, buying teacher appreciation gifts, and making plans for summer. Hang on parents... It's almost over!!
2 more weeks of school. WHY are we STILL asking for you to sponsor a child's education for 2016-2017? Good Question.
School in Haiti is not free like it is here. If you want your child to have an education, you must pay. The average cost of school is $350 per yr per child. The average Haitian income is about $400 per yr. BIG PROBLEM.
What happens to a child who's parent's can not afford school? They don't go.
GNCS does not charge our students anything. We believe God is our Hope and our Provider and we believe He will move in the hearts of His children to come along side us in providing this education free to those that can not afford it.
Here's where we are: We have 140 students total. We have 48 sponsored. We have exactly 2 weeks left to get 92 children sponsored. $100 ea.
